Suspension/Coilover Noise? Rattle?

I installed my BC coilovers roughly a month ago, and I am just noticing some almost rattling noise. The noise only occurs when driving not on a smooth surface, as soon as its bumpy you can hear it. You can mostly hear in the rear, it almost sounds like it is in the trunk. At first I thought it was the top mounts, but they are nice and tight, and I rechecked everything and everything is on there. The only thing I could thing of its the actual spring moving, but that wouldn't happen would it?

Any help is appreciated!

- Chris

since you have that, there is no rubber ring around them , so that is why, can and will give you a clicking noise. Nothing unusual.

Thats what I was thinking, just kind of an annoying sound, and I was wondering what it was since it hadn't happened until like 500 miles of wear.

I had same noise form the start. Try getting some rubber between the car and the coilover. Basically making a gasket for it to rest against. See if that helps, I am curious to know if that solves it. That will tell you if the noise is related to the top mount or not.

there is a reason why is not a rubber around them. This way the coilover set up is more precise. I do not recommend to put anything rubber there.
These coilovers are designed that way. There are other coilovers , with no pillow ball mount.

Thanks, I was going to call you to see if you were having the same thing. I was just at the Dodger game and it was making a lot of noise, but just have to get used to it.

Not all coilovers make this noise, even with pillowball mounts.
