Yes, don't drive these babies in heavy rain. I have a set of 275/35-18's on my MR for 5000 miles, and even though the NT01's are very sticky and wear very well like the Toyo RA1 and R888 (very similar compound as Toyo and Nitto are sister companies), they are very noisy and harsh riding. I use the MR as a daily driver so I'm taking mine out and going to give the quieter Kumho XS a try this coming weekend. PM me if you are interested in a used set for $250, plus shipping. Prefer local pickup in Socal (Monterey Park and of course you save shippping charges). EDIT: tires sold.
