They look good but you should of got 18x 9.5. I did and put on the stock tires.

The fitment is way too conservative... the stock wheels look better in that size.

Just wanted to remind those who think the wheel is too small...

The larger wheel typically is heavier and may reduce acceleration, braking, and handling overall due to additional unsprung weight and inertial mass.

The RPF1 is well known for its lightness so mounting the smaller RPF1 with a lower profile tire results in even more weight loss and a low-end gearing advantage for quicker take-offs and less sidewall roll for better turning. It's a winning combination.

Yeah it doesn't look as good but it typically performs better in competitive driving events -- i.e. autocross and time trials, etc.

I give it "props".

As I own a Evo IX, those RPF-1's look very sexy on the X's, as well as on the IX's. Red's hot as hell, and I hope to see more from your car!! Congrats on them!

To be honest, I love the stockies compared to what was on the 8's and the basic stockers on the IX's.

I haven't searched, so please don't flame me but, do the X stock 18's fit on the IX's? If so, I might have to save and get me a set and also do the black scheme like you did. Great idea Jax

also, +1 for a fellow Floridian! I'm down here in Naples myself, just waiting for the next big Evo meet, hopefully in O-town soon!
