Umm... how was it not respectful? what... me finding glee in your comment is disrespectful? you live and learn... you post and get burned... thats how you learn **** man...

but to the poster of the post we are referring to... Rota mostly (correct me if i am wrong) makes wheels which are direct replica versions of other mainstream wheels. They are usually about a 1/3 of the price of volks/works w/e... and are therefore not forged.

Looking through Rota's wheel catalog is like walking around the backroom of a shop in china town ...

nothing but Sike shoes, Cucci bags, Folex watches, and bootleg dvds.

and to go along with what Shabarivas said ... if getting a genuine good laugh out of someone's mistake/folly makes one an idiot ... then that makes 99.9% of the world's population idiots. Everyone at one time or another, about one thing or another, will laugh at somebody else's mistake.

420SEL ... sounds like you're the one that's on a high horse thinking too highly of yourself.

3 posts of people laughing at him is overkill.
But you're probably right, it was unfair of me to pick on you guys and I apologize...

If they are like my old Rota's the center caps come uninstalled. You decide if you want to add them.

EvoG8R is correct, the caps are optional and will come uninstalled.

ya the stock GSR wheels are about the same weight. Since I track so much I want something lighter (every bit helps). But I also don't want anything expensive because I scuff my wheels up (cones and what not).

These just look so dang good.

Goofy, I have Advan RZ and you can feel the difference from stock (4 lbs/wheel). If I ever make it up to DFW for a meet or track event you can see for yourself.

I would use the Grids as DD wheels since they look awesome. I also had a couple other vendors on other sites state these are heavier then 22.5 lbs. More like 27 lbs.

Has anyone weighed these or are we just taking the vendor's word for it?

PM'ed you about the other vendor spreading misinformation/lies about our product. We have no reason to outright lie about the wheel weight especially considering how many sets of these we are shipping to customers who can easily weigh them when they receive their order. We've recently had a lot of rumors/lies spread from other vendors/US Distributors of other high end wheels spreading misinformation to make us/Rota wheels look bad.

I'm sold out of 18x9.5 +20 right now, I will post up a picture of the wheel on a scale when our next shipment arrives in less than 2 weeks. I have 18x9.5 +38 Grid wheels in stock (Suby fitment) which I can put on a scale if you guys are curious, the wheel weight is very similar to the +20.

That would be great. I appreciate you posting a picture.

Its possible some folks are misinformed. I don't feel it would be appropriate to create any additional tension on any boards between vendors.

Yes I will definitely post a picture of these wheels on a scale when our 18x9.5 +20 shipment arrives.

I would still appreciate it if you could PM me the link to where you saw other vendors say these were 27 lbs and where they were talking about this wheel. The amount of misinformation posted about Rota wheels is insane and I think it is appropriate that I clear up the information as this does effect a product we sell.
