Yea the White Grids look amazing, I posted these in another thread but here are some shots of a nice wheel/tire package with Dunlop Direzza Z1 Star Specs

We also shipped a set of White Grids to a Evo 8/9 customer so I'm hoping he can take pictures soon

No apologies needed man... not like you poured sugar in my tank lol... just an online forum

But i mean... for what they are worth... rotas are awesome... but if you are trying to extract every bit of performance from each mod you are doing (like I am...) then obviously you are going to save for lightweight / strong / forged wheels. If all you care about (for any number of reasons... maybe the car is a DD / Track car and you have stock wheels on for track days and your rotas for DD... etc) are the looks... then yea... rotas do just about as well until you take your car into a show (which in my opinion is not what an evo is about...).

But its all about 1 thing in life especially when it comes to cars/ modding... are you having fun as you learn? if you can say yes to that... the opinions of many or few start to completely not matter anymore... Complements will always be welcome but you will learn to not give a crap about the people who dont like it...

They are 255/35/18 Dunlop Z1 Star Specs. These tires run very wide for their listed size and are comparable in width to most 265/35/18's and even some 275/35/18's that we've mounted on the 18x9.5 Grids.

First, props to wheeldude for defending his products with solid proof. Anyway, I was just wondering why you recommended using 265/35/18 tires instead of 265/40/18 tires for these wheels. Will you need to roll your fender using 40 sidewall profile if the car is lowered?

265/35 is the closest diameter size compared to stock

Same thing I'm asking myself. All three colors look great, I just can't decide what to put on RR!

A 265/40/18 tire is very tall compared to your stock rolling diameter. If straying away from the stock rolling diameter it is usually best to go slightly lower so you don't run in to rubbing issues with your fender liner or slow acceleration due to the taller height. A 265/35/18 is a very nice fit on the 18x9.5 Grid's and will just be slightly below the stock rolling diameter.

The Grids only come in 18x9.5 for the Evo. We did just release a new 19x9 +20 and 19x10 +20 wheel for the Evo X which is the ever so popular Rota P45.

Here's a small preview of these
19x9 +20

19x10 +20

275/35/18 is closest to the stock diameter without going over it and the widest you can go without fender modification.

Stock diameter = 25.7 inches.

275/35/18 = 25.6 inches.
