Stance GR+ or... for me?
I'm probably leaning towards the Stance GR+ but just want more opinions. Are these made in USA? or China also?
Are 10k springs to rough for daily driving? This is my weekend car so it should still be ok.
i plan to track it on a road course twice a year at most (TWS, MSR) and will they hold up fine?
How long has Stance been around? their website doesnt explain.
I originally wanted KW or JIC, but dont want to waste my money if i wont use it to its potential.

Hi.
STANCE is produced in the land of the Rising Sun. No Chinese stuff here.
10k/10k is not bad on the streets. If you ever decide to increase spring rates, we have springs in stock!
On softer settings, they feel slightly stiffer then stock suspension, however it allows for plenty of setting adjustments for track days.
Few of the locals here run the GR+ Pros running RT615/RE01R/Star Specs and attend track events regularly.
STANCE has been around since 2004.

Stance also is big in the 240 & drift scene. They make good stuff.
If you're ever up in Dallas, let me know and you can try out the GR+Pro SSD (14/14 spring rates). On the way to lunch today I pushed the car quite a bit on one of those big sweeping overpasses from one highway to another (left hand sweeper) and absolutely ZERO body roll at excessive speeds. No S-AYC twitchi-ness or rear slide or anything. My passengers were a bit freaked out though ;-)
A bit rough/bouncy on rough streets though.

thanks for the offer, to bad i only been to dallas like 2 times in my life. both for HIN, haha.
i'll probably end up ordering these this week then, i saw ur thread and the drop looks good too.
is there much weight savings with the AL version? i know on my bike i have a AL Penske and the weight saving and benefits is tremendous. or how about are these lighter then stock suspension? thats good enough for me.

I'm going to raise the rear up a bit. I think the COs are settling and the rear is lower than the front now (1 chubby goofygrin finger vs. 1 leaning chubby goofygrin finger). And I think that my rear bounciness is caused by the rear being too low.
However at speed and pushed there is no bounce. The bounciness could just be a very hard coilover (which is what I wanted for the track). We'll see.

It could have been lower to begin with, but you're right. I set it up taking measurements from the ground to the wheel arch and it was the same all around.
I'll check it when I get home, but I want the wheel gap to look the same and I still think the rear is too low. I really think I need to raise the front up a bit too honestly... too low = bad for handling. The Evo isn't a drift machine ;-)

So... call them up: http://stance-usa.com/sus/index.php?...id=6&Itemid=48
They have posted shock dynos for the 240 suspension in the past, so I don't see why they wouldn't for the Evo or any of their other items (since the shock dynos are what you really wanted to see in the other thread).
ETA:
Here's a 240 dyno:
