Look sick, but destroy the center diff. Thats a rear wheel set up not an all wheel setup. You cant tires to equal the same overall circumference between front and rear. I know, Ive tried when I was almost given rims. I got close but not close enough.

You can run them on Evos as long as you use the same tires front and back. They would need to be on a X.

They'll fit. Not really sure how staggered fitments work on the evo though.

I was told opposite. When using, lets say a 245/40/17, and mount it to a 9" wide wheel it will not be the same rolling circumference as a 245/40/17 mounted on a 10" rim. The 245 would be stretched compared to the 9" wheel, thus reducing the rolling circumference making the front and rear tires diff sizes. Isnt this why if you buy one tire to replace a flat, it should be shaved down? Anyone know the tolerances? 1% 5% diff ok?

I have no idea how sensitive the AWD system in the X is.

but isnt it why guys, whom run staggered fitments will have different aspect ratio? for my front 9'' , is mounted 235/35/19 and 265/30/19 for my 10' rear.

You too. I said they would fit, I never said they would work.

^^^ Your posts are usless and uniformative. My post is trying to get an answer. What next, you gonna post in the "For sale" thread and say you dont have anything for sale yet? Then go to the "ecuflash" thread and say you dont own a tactrix cable or a computer? Im adding to this thread, you're stating that you don't know the answer. Useful ... not.

Now to the OP ...

235-35-19
Circumference: 80.01 in 2032.2 mm
265-30-19
Circumference: 79.32 in 2014.7 mm

Very close, but not the same size. That is why I am curious to see the tolerances in the evo's awd system. If it has to be within 10mm these would destroy the center diff, but if it has to be within 30mm the tire combo should work.

If a new tire with 3 old tires will jack up the transfer case (as we've seen attributed on the 8/9 TC), then I'm thinking that even a 10mm difference is likely unacceptable.

Personally I would let the Z's and G35's run the staggered setups... since wheels like in the OP are mostly for show anyway... (flame on?)

How are yours informative? You are simply posting tire diameters. As evidenced by your post you don't know the tolerances or the X AWD system either. Your posts are nothing but opinion; unless you have something factual to back up your statements, your claim that the center differential will be "destroyed" is baseless.
