Stock Tire and Rim Questions...

So im thinking about getting some rims and would like to use the stock tires and have some questions...with the rims, whats the max width i can do without over stretching the tires? the rims in particular are 8x8.5front and 18x9.5 with a 35 offset, would that work?

don't go staggered unless you like replacing transfer cases.

wider tires/wheels in back, like on a G35 or 350z look great, but if you have an AWD car *like an evo* then the difference in diameter, even small, will cause vibrations and then cause the transfer case to break.

Stick with 4 wheels and tires that are exactly the same. In fact, you should even replace all 4 tires at one time since 1 or 2 worn tires will do the same as staggered fitment.

If you stretch a tyre over a wider rim, then the diameter becomes smaller to compensate. Having a different diameter on the front and back means the wheels are turning at different speeds, which will cause big problems.

you'd likely have no problem with 9.5" wheels.
