Ugh.. I just bought my X and now I'm already looking for all-season tires (Kentucky doesn't get THAT much snow).

Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3D is another excellent option. I've run these on my IX (just ordered them for my X) They will get you through almost anything and have fantastic dry traction for a winter tire

I've got Winter Sport M3s on all of our cars. What a great tire. I went with the M3s again for the X to save a few dollars, but the newer 3Ds I assume are great also. These things were cheaper than and outhandled the Michelin all-seasons that came on my Si (even in the summer).

I am from Kentucky as well and I just ordered some Kumho Ecsta ASX for the winter. I will be driving my beater around when it snows because I dont trust all the other people on the road.

I had ASX's in pretty heavy snow last year and it was my 1st time driving in the snow. I had no problems. I also didn't go crazy.

To the OP. If your setting up a winter rally the Blizzak LM25's are the tires for you. They are a sport snow tire. I watched some of the guys with Evos here in Reno with them do light launches and still get traction in the snow with them.

Thanks for the info! I might give them a try this winter then if we get snow.
