Will Evo VIII wheels fit on an Evo X?
I'm considering selling / trading-in my 05 VIII. I have a spare set of wheels that have some Blizzacks currently mounted for winter. I know the X comes with 18's but is the bolt pattern similar? Is this possible?

When I called up to place the order they guy who replied to my request initially asked me how thick I wanted the spacers. When I (in a puzzled voice) said how ever thick I need them to be to clear the brakes he had no idea what I was talking about. As long as the bolt pattern matched up, in his tinny little mind that meant that they would fit.
A really thick spacer (over 2" thick) with extended wheel studs could possibly work, but your tires would be sticking way out beyond the fenders, and your suspension geometry would be all jacked up.
I ended up buying some 18 x 9.5 inch wheels on tire rack for cheap ($125 each I think).
Now, has anyone tried the narrow 18" rims from the Lancer Ralliart yet? Those should be a low cost option for winter wheels if they will fit.

Probably read my posts from a while back. I recieved a quote on making some spacers after putting in my requirements (need to place stock EVO VIII wheel on new EVO X)... but the idiot who sent me the quote was just trying to make a sale.
