Not too much different than the stock tires, I have the OEM clear film that covers my rear doors which does a great job protecting my paint.

Clearance problems with your Brembos?

I ended up having to get them balanced with regular wheel weights around the outside and inside of the wheels, since the clearance was too tight to fit the other type of weights (not sure what they're called). Kinda ugly, but not too bad once you paint them.

Anyone else figure out how to properly balance these wheels with the hidden wheel weights? I kid you not, the space between the inside of the wheel and the front Brembo's is probably less than 1mm

They passed the JWL/VIA regulations recently didn't they? I remember that they did not originally have the logos on them and used to be considered low quality. I like their original design wheels, they should avoid doing imitations of VOlks and such.

I do not have a picture of the weights mounted. For all wheel/tire packages we do mount the weights further towards the center of the wheel as caliper clearance is very tight. This method does require slightly more weight however the Rota SVN-R's we've mounted require very little weight in general. Another option is to use clip on weights on the outside.

Every single Rota Wheel released for the Evo (8,9, and X) surpasses JWL/VIA testing standards. This is not something new as we have been carrying Evo specific Rota Wheels for the past 5+ years I have experience with a ton of aftermarket wheels and I would definiately recommend Rota Wheels as they are a quality product.

Here's the Rota SVN-R's in action on the track

Did you just recently pick up an Evo X Carl? You should have said something last time we spoke on the phone, that's awesome if you did We did not have plans to release this model in White however if we get at least 3 people interested I will special order this finish. We currently offer White on the Rota DPT's and also the Rota Grid's for the Evo X

Yeah. I picked up a 2010 Evo X, some butt head rear ended my 07 STI a few weeks back. But Im not new to this forum. I also have an Evo 8.

My Evo X is white and I was thinking of going with white wheels. But I am really leaning towards an 18x10 wheel. What good are the HUGE fenders without filling them right?

Sounds good! The 18x9 +20 model is still an awesome option for the Evo X and will allow you to easily run OEM 245/40/18's or 265/35/18's on stock fenders

Thanks for sending a PM Freddie! For those also wondering about the two models, the 18x9 +20 model does have a smaller lip. Here's an example of the Rota SVN in 18x9 +20 with a 265/35/18 tire. Direct bolt on fitment with no modifications required

Does fitting these on a car with just Swift springs require rolling of the fenders?
