Any rubbing going on at the track? ...and when they rolled your rear fenders did they basically take the whole inner "lip" off?

I have to roll my rears soon and I'm just looking for some tips on before I get at it...Thanks!

I'm laughing and crying at the same time. Missouri is both an old conferate state and a state where RBAM's only drive V8's without traction control and steering systems that were last updated in 1970. "Local EVO owners near you" means Chicago! I'll see if the BMW club racers can steer me to a local reputable provider and price. In areas where these are common, what's the typical price to roll fenders?

What about 18x9.5 +15 with 265/40/18 tire. Will it require fender rolling or pulling with an eibach springs on a 2010 Evo X? Also will it clear the calipers? Thanks.

Negative, the entire track day was rub free...yes, there will be no "lip" after the roll is completed.

+15 would look WAAAAYYYY better. The +38's would be too low of an offset.

O yea.. would def need fender rolling on the rear. It might would need a bit of rolling if you were on stock height.

[quote]we're running 18x10.5 +15 with Z1 Star Specs - 265/35/18
Rear fenders are rolled...that's it. no other fender mods.

Hey guys, I just picked up the same size rpf1's. After changing my suspension I threw those rims on w/o tires to sheck where they are sitting...does this look right to you??? Looks to me like these rims are sticking way out from the wheel well..I know once it's down they will come in a bit, but is this normal?

Rims should sit flush, there is something else up with yours...almost looks like you have spacers or something....

what's wrong with running stock offset??

how exactly does +38 rpf-1 look? is it really any worse than +15?

i just don't like rolling my fenders as it alters the body work, and its irreversible change

I'd rather run the +38 rpf-1 without rolling fenders, even if it requires front spacer, than rolling my rear fender

you cant run +38 RPF1 without a spacer....I believe a 10mm or 15mm is required...if your willing to run a spacer...go for it

if your not willing to run a spacer, then you have to go 18x9.5 +15....

if you dont want to roll your fenders...then you have to go 18x9.5 +15 with a 245/40/R18 tire....I believe anything more than that and you will have to roll fender

rolling fenders is not bad....you can't even tell by looking at the car...

so with 10mm spacer upfront +38 RPF-1 will have an effective offset of +28mm and thus will clear the brembos right?

rear i don't think i'll need spacers so it will be +38 at the rear

would 265/35/18 Toyo R1R fit with this kind of offset without fender rolling?

reason i don't like the +15 offset is because you'll have to run up to -3 front camber and -2 rear camber to not rub

i only want to run -2.5 camber max at the front and -1.5 camber max at the rear, without fender rolling

are you absolutely dead set to run those toyo 265s? because like i said earlier, you can run 18x9.5 +15 with 245/40/R18 WITHOUT rolling fenders and a slight drop....and yes, a 245/40/R18 tire falls within safety limit to run on an 18x9.5...its not a dangerous stretch

i can't say for sure a 10mm spacer up front will clear....maybe a 15mm....can somebody chime in what spacer is needed to run 18x9.5 +38 enkei rpf1?

you SHOULD be fine with 18x9.5 +38 265/35/R18 on the rears....i am pretty positive on that
