285/30/18 a6s or V710s -- what's required to fit?

What wheels/offset and fender modifications are ya'll doing?

I've got -3*F/-2*R camber, so I'm not scared there

I'm thinking a 18x9.5, 18x10 or 18x10.5 wheel in +15 to +20 offset will be the wheel (or wheel + spacer combo) of choice. And possibly a fender roll.

18x10.5 +15 will definitely work with a fender roll. I'm running 19x10.5 +22 with 275/30/19 and rolled fenders with no issues.

^ Stock suspention?? How???
I have 18X10 +25 275/35R18. I rub on the front fender liner from lock to lock, and tires rub on rear fenders. I need to roll my rear fenders.

Stick with a 275/35 or 265/35 tire. 285 will have alot of rubbing issues to figure out.

V710s don't come in normal sizes. They are cheaper and last longer than the A6s (but no contingency money this year).

V710s:
245/35ZR18
285/30ZR18
305/30ZR18
315/35ZR18

A6s:
225/40ZR18
245/35ZR18
245/40ZR18
255/35ZR18
275/35ZR18
285/30ZR18
295/30ZR18
315/30ZR18
335/30ZR18
345/35ZR18

If I buy new, I'll go with 275/35/18 in the A6's, but the V710s last a lot longer and they are good for both autocross and road course. Also I can get 285/30/18's used sets for around $300-350, which is the cost of a single tire new!

I have 285/30/18 Advan A048's on the car right now and they fit fine with a roll and a slight flare. Camber is -2.7F and -1.9R and the car is VERY low now.

Wheels are 18x10.5 +18 (CE's) and +15 (TE's).

I'm running 285/30/19 on 19x10 +22. I get minor rubbing on the front fender liners during full lock in the front. Rears were also rubbing before the fenders were rolled.

There is an obvious implication in a thread like this that you aren't using stock suspension.

+1

If you're trying to fit 285's on your car on stock suspension... well... ya...

Looking at my car this morning, fitting the almost 2" wider tires up front won't be the issue with -3* camber. It's the rears that are going to cause problems.

I was trying to avoid a fender roll... but I might not have much choice in the matter.

The amount of roll you'll need totally depends on the width/offset you choose. Go for something lame (sunken +35 or something) if you don't want to roll that much. Otherwise, go big or go home

Ya I was thinking of going the BlackTrack v1 route with NT03ms (+27) and that would give me a lot more room in the rears (although it would require a spacer in the front for clearance).

I think I'm going to roll them no matter what. I don't think I have a spare 1.5" in there right now on the rear, so even with a +27 I think it will be too tight.

You will most likely have to roll. If you do, you will thank yourself because of the additional room you get.

Just roll them and be done You can fit 285's easy then with 10.5's.
