Squeaking Brakes
Okay ... so my brakes squeak when i'm driving, but not when the brakes are applied.....!!!!
The discs have just been turned and this is the state of the rotors 600 miles later ....
The car has done 7000miles and was fine for the first 5000miles .....
Everything has been checked by the dealer and they say all is well ......
Here are a few photo's ... what do you guys think?

The rotors look normal to me....I've got a squeak noise coming from a bearing for my main driveshaft. Sounds like birds chirping for lack of a better description. Maybe thats what your hearing. Where does it sound like its coming from?

I read two things going on. These are different problems.
For those who's brakes make noise when you aren't touching your pedals or anything: GET NEW BRAKES. That noise is the warning the brakes are supposed to make when they are wearing down.
Everyone else thinks the noise is darn loud when the Evo's come to a stop, especially the slow, sexy, "hey, notice me" saunters-into-a-spot type of stopping. The moisture and dust and road oil all combine for some nasty stuff. One thing that doesn't take a lot of work to minimize the noise is frequent car washes. If you have a new one and this just started, it'll work for a while. It works less well for me, telling me my wheels need to come off for a good cleaning and a set of pads this spring.
I'm at 14000 miles, love my brakes only long after I should have applied them. I do love my rotors too, gotta give them the love too.
(There's a few other threads for replacement brakes)
