Question 18x10.5 +15 - 295/40/18

Yo dudes,

Next Tuesday I am throwing on some Enkei RPF1's 18x10.5 +15 and some295/40/18 tires and I am rolling on a set of Tein S-Techs. I am assuming there won't need to be any fender roll but was just wondering if anyone else is running this setup or close to the same diminsions. Thanks for the input and I will post pics next week of the new shoes lol

Thanks!

Ummm....i'm pretty sure you'll need massive roll and camber adjustments too. Those offsets with 275's would need a roll...

You're high on good crack rock if you think you're going to fit that under stock fenders.

I run 285/30/18 Hoosier A6's on my 18x10.5+15 RPF1s. They fit ok on the front (slight fender pull), but in the rear, I've rolled and pulled the fenders to get the tires to squeak by.

295/40's will stick way the hell out.

285/30/18:

just run 265s or 275s will do the work.

For me, i prefer to run stretched tires to achieve stiffer side wall and the car will respond much better in my opinion.

A 295 width 40-series tire will be too wide and too tall. You'll definitely need to roll and pull fenders. On that size rim, I'd go 275/35.

with the +15 on the 18x10.5 you will need to roll the fender no matter what you put on there. Touge Factory runs 265/35/18's on theirs and they had to roll the fender (but not pull).

If you don't want to risk rubbing and not bother with fender adjustments and camber adjustments, you definitely should go with a less aggressive wheel. Maybe 18x9.5 +22. That would fit perfect. However, if you already ordered your wheels, you should go with 265 or 275 max. Hope you enjoy your new wheels

You'll definitely need to roll the rears. I'm running the same size wheel and the rears were hitting the fender when going over large bumps or when friends were in the back.

Also, if you're not 'gonna do it yourself, ensure the shops nonsense "We don't allow customers in the back for insurance reasons" remark doesn't deter you from verifying whether or not they're using the fender rolling device, or hammers.

It should look similar to the above.

My experience here:
