PRE-REVIEW: Quality is very nice. The silicon coating is top notch. The swivel ends on the front and the rears will make installing much simpler and easier. Looks like a excellent product for the money.

That's a pretty good price for some SS lines. I look forward to reading your review... I may pull the trigger on these when I swap out brake fluid here soon.

Any issues? Do the ones with the Banjo fitting go to the rear?

I noticed this, since for the fronts it goes HARDLINE> RUBBER LINE > HARDLINE

A quick question on SS lines, do they take you out of a stock class in Autocross?

Thanks

actually you can change the brake lines unless it is a 1992 or older car. this means that the evo x has to run stock brake lines to be in stock class. sorry. (2009 solo rule p.78 13.6 http://www.scca.com/contentpage.aspx?content=61)

Your post is a little contridictory. Did you mean to say "you CAN'T' change the lines?

the rule states that you can change the lines as long as it is a 92 and older. so essentially you can not change the lines on the evo and run in a stock class. so if you want to run in a stock class you have to run stock lines. you can change the lines but it will just move you to a different class. which class not sure, prob stu or a prepared class. but i wouldn't want to be running in stu with only brake lines. sorry if it wasn't clear.

I guess the front lines only replace the rubber lines and keep the stock hard lines going to the calipers.
