Tire Bubble with Stock Rubber
Just hit the 1,500 mile mark with my X, and just noticed a bubble starting to form on the sidewall of my driver's side front tire.
I'm concerned about a blowout, especially since the temperatures are starting to rise here in the NE.
Anyone know if this is a common occurence with the stock Yokos? I'm going to set up an appointment with the dealer next week. Hopefully can get this covered under warranty without any BS.

That's a road hazard my friend...pothole, curb whatever the case may have been. Tire could go in a day...could go in 2 years. I've seen plenty of scenarios. I wouldn't lose sleep over it, just take the driving a bit easier. The dealer might cover it seeing how new the vehicle is. I know my shop covers all road hazard within the first 90 days no questions asked. Lucky you that it happened within 1500 miles...we have some customers come in and want 1 new tire while the others are used 30K ...ain't happenin Good luck!

Update: The dealer wanted nothing to do with this, - not a big surprise given that the tires are already warranteed by Yokohama.
However after a couple of phone calls, Yokohama agreed to buy me a new tire through a local shop.

Wow, Yoko warrantied it?
Good on them.
I had this same problem happen with my Michelins when I had my SRT-4. My problem was Michelin told me to pound sand, but the Dodge dealer wanted to help me out. Only problem was, Michelin discontinued the Michelin Pilot Sports, so I was SOL.
I had to buy one off a member on the SRTforums.
Glad to see Yoko's stepping up.

Had a set of Sumitomos a while ago. 3 out of the 4 took turns coming up with bubbles in their sidewalls. Might've been a combination of Chicago streets and 35 aspect tires though. Got F1's after that and the bubble problem went away. Hmmph.
