Stock Suspension with Aftermarket Spring Reliability?

I am planning on changing to a set of Swift Sport springs and I am wondering on how long the stock GSR suspension will last on aftermarket springs, on average or expected. I don't do any really hard driving and I do not expect to track until I replace it with coilovers.

I apologize in advance if the question has been answered, but. I couldn't find a specific thread.

I have had my Eibachs on for a long time now. I don't put a lot of miles on my car, but the miles I do put are pure punishment. 20+ events and I have had no issues.

Why are you worried about reliability if your plan is to get coil overs? But, anyway, back to you question, I doubt you will blow out the stock KBs in 20-30k with lowering springs. And if you do, there will be a ready supply in the private for-sale section.

Because I'm a complete and utter cheap *****. Based on finances at the moment, I can't justify $2K for coilovers I don't really need since I don't have the time to go to any events. (I'm trying not to go cheap on brands. If I can't do it right, I won't do it at all.) I do, however, want the look of a lowered car which is why I ask. I didn't consider the private sales of stock parts... as long as I can get 20-30K out of it, I think it will be sufficient. Hopefully more?
