The MR springs have been available for some time. Unless both Pete and their sales guy blatantly lied to me and were planning on selling me GSR springs.

"Application: '08+ EVO X including GSR and MR"

And take the next step, try and order; There is no option for MR or GSR.

I agree. Too much of a drop.

Yep, they haven't updated their site in ages. Even when I was talking to them about it, they said I had to order it over the phone to specify which X I had. Just call them.

To satisfy my own curiosity, I called Works again and this time I spoke with Troy. He said that they are the same spring. I guess the right hand doesn't necessarily know what the left hand is doing over there at Works.

Oh well.

You guys do know that Swift is the actual manufacturer of the springs Works sells, right? Works developed their own specs for their springs through testing and such, but Swift actually makes them for Works. This info was relayed to me from EAT/EDO here in Kirkland, WA a Works partner.

Not trying to derail the topic but why does everyone just take rear3/4 shots of their car when showing off wheels and suspension? Why no front end shots?

Yep, but that actually makes the choice even harder. With the cost savings and the availability of Works springs I am leaning that way. Who knows what I will end up doing though.
