Recommend Me Springs Swift vs. WORKS ...
I am looking for a set of springs that will work well on a mostly daily driven car. The car will be driven in the snow, therefore it cannot be too low. The city won't payme to be a snow plow.
I want some thing that lowers my car max 1". The will be daily driven about 15k miles per year, about 1 track day, and maybe 2-3 autoX events. I need a good all around spring.
Please do NOT recommend me coilovers. I have set on my race Eclipse. I know how they ride and feel, it's not what I am looking for in a daily driver.
Choices:
Swift Sport Mach ...... 2.7 - 4.3 kg ...... 2.3 - 4.4 kg .......... 1.0" / 0.6"
Works .9" .................... 3.8 kg* .......... 3.2 - 4.3 kg* ........ 0.9" / 0.9"
Hold of for Swift Specs R's (specs unknown)
I will also install a set of sway bars to help with cornering.

I have Swifts on my IX and love em. The spec R lower the car the same amount but have more aggressive spring rates (kinda overkill for the street). Don't know much about the Works springs but if Swift put as much R & D into the X springs as the IX you won't be disappointed.

Both are high quality springs. Lots of good reviews from guys who have either of them on their Evo IX. You really can't go wrong.
For me, I would look at the drop and would choose the Swift springs. The Evo is already jacked up in the front. So, the Swifts having a larger drop in the front would appeal to me.

I voted Swifts - higher final rate. And from what I have heard from my X friends with them - working great!
