Depends on the wear rating of the tire and alignment more then anything..if these are right then a good tire will not have abnormal wear--meaning a shortened life. If your racing, auto-crosssing etc then less. You seem to suggest you have tire wear thats uneven--get a good alignment and your tires will last for their rated life all other factors being correct. Sticky tires usually means less tire life, the contrary is correct as well. You need to decide.

Maybe I was pushing it too hard the first few month over the excitement? My previous 350Z tires had much better miles

also... anyone recommend any other brands of tires or place to purchase for cheaper? I don't track the EVO n live in Cali... warmness all year round minus a few days of rain
$1000 bucks for tires.... damn are u a millionaire...???? j/k... but seriously i got my 245/45/17 potenza re-01r's for 370 shipped from tirerack... just ask neil for whatever is going on clearance or something....

Tires still good at 10K with mildly spirited driving.

6k on mine. They are just about slicks now. Don't know how anyone could get more than 10k on them! Never been on a track. On ramps and back roads are just way too much fun. My NT05's will be here this week, so hopefully they are just as fun with a little more durability.
