Widest wheel/tire combo
I plan on getting a GSR and putting KW coilovers on it. What is the widest tire/wheel combo that will give me the most grip on the track. I don't mind rolling my fenders. I just don't want anything that sticks out too much.

i have a friend that is running.. 19x10.5 +? (i'll try and find out..)
on 275 all around.. and he only had slight rub after rear fender roll'd. if your running KWs then you may be able to take out the rubbing with an agressive camber in the rear.

I only want to dial in camber if it is the optimal settings for street/track use. I do not want to add camber just to make the tires not rub.
Would a 9.5 in rim work better with 275 tires? I care mainly about getting the best track performance while still being able to drive it everyday.

My RPF1's (18x10.5+15) with 275/35/18 RA-1's don't rub except on the fender liner at full lock (and that could be smoothed out with a heat gun, except it's illegal for my autocross class).
That's front fenders slightly pulled, rears rolled and pulled.
Even 285/30/18 Hoosier A6's didn't rub except at full lock.
A 275 on a 9.5" wheel will give you worse performance than a 275 on a 10" or 10.5" wheel. You might be better off going with something skinnier in order to keep the sidewall from bulging.
ETA: I'm running -2.8* to -4.5* of camber up front and -1.3* to -2.2* of camber in the back (depends on what I'm doing).
Try shooting for -3* up front and -1.2* to -1.8* in the rear for the track (autocross is a different story).
You can kind of see how much I rolled it/pulled it in this pic:
And it does tuck:

goofygrin, what suspension are you on? I can't really tell from the pics, but do they stick out a little? i was hoping to avoid the lowrider look where the wheels stick out.
If I run -3 up front, won't that cause unusual wear on the streets? I was hoping to not get a set of track wheels. I just want to run on 275 Star Specs on the street and track. I will probably do about 10 track days per year.
