Rubbing on Liner

I've searched but couldn't find anything, but I came across it in reading once. People who had rubbing issues against the fender liner vents in the front. That's what I'm experiencing with wider tires, what exactly did people do to fix this besides pulling the liner?

Thanks

You can either let it wear away or you can use a heat gun to heat the plastic and then use a metal spoon to shape the plastic away from where it's rubbing. I get rubbing on both sides of the liner (front and rear).

I had the same problem when i put Pilot Sport A/S tires on stock rim. I used a heat gun and a round tip hammer and just wedged it against the tire and vented fender liner as I heated the plastic. Once it's formed to the shape you want with a gap roughly the hammer's head width, flush it with cold water immediately to harden the plastic and stay in the form.
