What did you find? I have the Cobb rear sway bar installed by Hb speed also. It get this while going up slanted driveways at an angle. Driving me nuts.

For me, it was the sway bar end link nuts. Check if any are loose. One of mine was loose and I torqued it to 29 ft lbs.

i still have the damn noise what i do conclude though it's either the end links (they weren't loose), or the spring's rubber seats wearing out. i've been busy for the past month with ERP system migrations so i didn't have more time to look into it...i'm also looking at new coilovers too, so maybe i'll wait till then and see if it will go away.

Bump this old thread. I've been getting this pop sound when slanting on driveways. Usually it pops once and won't pop again until I let the car sit for a bit. Any solutions people have found? I'm on Eibachs as well.

mine actually went away completely now. suspension-wise, there has been no changes.

for sure, however, when it was happening, it was definitely something rotating. putting that into consideration, it's probably either the spring seat or the drive shaft. all i know is that jacking it up and down makes it go away for a while when it was still happening.

hmm. I'll try jacking it up. It bugs the heck out of me because I can also feel it through my feet (I'm on the clutch/break/gas petal). Anyone else have a solution too?

and you could also try regreasing your bushings too. check the endlink nuts as well.

Had this exact same issue...I would get an occasional clunking/popping sound if I was turning while driving up an incline (e.g., driveway) that would cause the suspension to compress while the wheels were angled.

The issue turned out to be one of the bolts which holds the lower control arm (the aluminum one) to the subframe. It was the one which is towards the front of the car that is hidden by the plastic under tray. Mine was about a quarter turn loose...just enough to allow a bit of play under the right circumstances. Hope this helps someone else with this issue - it was driving me nuts.
