it really doesnt matter in terms of conversion from fwd to awd or whatever. in the end power split is power split - if its 50:50, it's 50:50 whether the original design was fwd rwd or whatever. and 50:50 power split is not to be confused with the center differential torque split.

so much misinformation.. subies understeer from set up, not their awd system. and as the video points out, the platform allowed the X to make changes in the suspension geometry because it started out with awd in mind - that in itself doesn't make the awd any better or different (other things do). and a mini note, the weaknesses in the rear suspension geometry of the ct9a cars have multiple fixes

One factor that people are neglecting to mention is that the VIII and IX were meant to have the S-AYC but had to be modified for emissions, therefore not handling in the intended manner.

Also, MOST cars oversteer to some degree from the factory ON PURPOSE. This is to keep inexperienced drivers safe. FACT

I think we're more talking about Mitsu's current s-awc system, compared to quattro subaru symmetrical etc - and understeer, not oversteer you mean

I think you mean most cars are designed to UNDERSTEER.
