it really doesnt matter in terms of conversion from fwd to awd or whatever. in the end power split is power split - if its 50:50, it's 50:50 whether the original design was fwd rwd or whatever. and 50:50 power split is not to be confused with the center differential torque split.
so much misinformation.. subies understeer from set up, not their awd system. and as the video points out, the platform allowed the X to make changes in the suspension geometry because it started out with awd in mind - that in itself doesn't make the awd any better or different (other things do). and a mini note, the weaknesses in the rear suspension geometry of the ct9a cars have multiple fixes

One factor that people are neglecting to mention is that the VIII and IX were meant to have the S-AYC but had to be modified for emissions, therefore not handling in the intended manner.

too bad we wont have mitsus all wheel drive system in a performance car ever again after the evo X... I believe its a fact that mitsu is trying to go green, and i quote one of their execs... "going in a different direction"... lol id like ford to buy the rights to their tech so the new focus rs im gona buy in 2013 has it...
