Go with coilovers, any spring will accelerate the degredation of your stock shocks, which wont last the life of the vehicle how they are now anyway.

My advice is if you want springs and care about handling....go for the spring with the least drop. Also will keep your shocks lasting long.

tien are terrible. tien coilovers are good. But i personally love the eibach springs. I have never had an issue with them. Just need to know what kind of feel you want. Will you track the car alot, if so save up and get coilovers. If you just want to lower the car for looks, then go with a set of springs. No matter what kind of springs you get, and I dont care what anyone says, because i have experience with many different types of springs, they will cause more stress on your shocks/struts.

Actually the eibachs have more drop in the front. eibach listed the front height wrong, its actually over 2" drop in front. i love my eibachs, not sure why they are getting bashed. i had teins on one of my tc's and they are HORRIBLE. here are my eibachs, perfect until i get coilovers!!!

Jesus, you must be riding on the bump stops in the front.

My advice is to avoid lowering springs if you care about bump travel, ride quality over time and handling. Looking at the spring rates of everything out there, it seems like the stock springs are a good match to the factory damper, its just a little bit over-damped which leaves a little room for the aftermarket lowering springs to increase spring rate. however, the rate increase is negligible - 30-60 lbs of rate, costs you valuable bump travel (unless you cut your bump stops to match the lowering of the spring), and degrades the shocks over time. remember, you're dealing with KYB shocks here...nothing exceptional in the durability department. as fun as the lowered look is to some people, for performance, ride quality, and durability you're better off getting a proper coilover system.

save your money. ur gunna destroy your stock struts over time. just save and get a nice set of coilovers. BC racing are nice.. you get get a nice set for like 900
thats my opinion

That's pretty reasonably priced for BC. Every coilover setup I have seen for the Evo X so far has been over $2k so I haven't really considered it. Are the BC coilover's good?

here is mine with Tein springs.. I have not tracked my car or autox but when I got them installed 6 months ago the difference were night and day in my opinion.. stocks springs were a bit more harsh than these... anyway 6k miles now w/ no problem...
