Looking for a new set of coilovers ... Any suggestions?
Hey Guys,
I currently have a set of BC Racing BR series coilovers (8kg/6kg). These coilovers are great for the street, but I plan on going to the track more often. I'm look for a nice set of coilovers ... something below $2,000.
I'm thinking of 12kg/10kg spring rates ... the coilovers im thinking of getting are Tein Mono Flex, Stance AL+, or the BC Racing ER Series (leaning towards these because they are double adjustable).
Any thoughts?
Thanks

I'm Planning to go with a Megan Racing Coil-over setup. My reasons are Price and Ease of use with there dampener extensions. makes it a lot easier to adjust. Or just go with Tien and get there electronic dampener controller.

None of those coilovers you mention are that good...
ER Series is your best bet for the budget brands, but you won't get a lot of stroke out of them or any of the asian coilovers.
I'd recommend spending a little bit more for some prepped KWs

^ We've got a lot of experience with AST....great dampers with huge range on the valving....it's not 32 clicks where all 32 clicks are almost the same and all 32 clicks suck like many coilovers. The AST's are great. You're well over 3 grand though when it's all said and done.
KW's are a good set-up for the track. Ohlins DFV Sportline are great as well. The new Eibach 2 ways look great...standard rates are softer but we can do custom rates.
And 12k/10k is not the right way to do things on an EVO....be skeptical of any company that pushes those rates.
