Question about HankookVentus V12 evo K110 tires

Those that are running HankookVentus V12 evo K110, any sizes, is the tread height taller, on par, or lower than what's advertised? Example, Star Specs 255/40 R18's height is more like the average tire that is 255/45 R18. Because the tread height is meatier. I would like to know how does the HankookVentus V12 evo K110 fair in sizing. I'm trying to figure out which tire size to get for 18x10" rims. I'm trying to reduce the fender rolling and choosen to stick with 255 but for ratio, should I go with 255/40 or 255/35?

I am running the Hankook Ventus V12 K110 in a 275/30 19. It run a little larger then usual from what I've seen. You should be able to fit a 265/35 10 without fender rolling. What is so bad about fender rolling? It is extremely easy to do. You can rent a tool for about 60$ with a deposit. Take a look at a few of the You tube videos on fender rolling. They show you exactly how to do it. But to sum it up, they run larger then usual compared to lets say Nitto.

Let me know if you have more questions.

I'm going to drop 2-2.5" on coilovers, fender rolling is required for my setup because I using 18x10 +18. I already decided on my tire size to be 255 because with 265 and my offset, I'm going to also have to pull along with the roll which is more than I wanted. I want to stick with just a roll and 255 is the best option. The tire will still be squared on the 10" width size as I been told from a vendor. 255 wheel suggestion is between 9-10.5" Thanks for the info about running larger than usual. I might have to go with 255/35 then.

Holy God dude, 2 inch drop? I don't think it'll matter what tire you're on, you're going to want to roll

For the cost, they're pretty damn nice I'd say. Got second place in C&D's "value summer tire comparison": http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/...12_evo_page_10

agreed, for the cost, they are superb. I don't feel like dropping $385 for top of the line Yokohamas when I will get better tread life and enjoyment out of these.
