Can I stretch 245's onto 10.5"?
Just like the title says, I am about to order a set of rpfl's and I would like to use my stock tires for a few months. And then later go with 275's, is it possible. I would like to do this within a couple weeks at my local Tire Rack. Thanks

The stretch would be too much and would be very difficult to mount as well as could damage the physical rim itself not only in the process but during operation/use. I doubt you'll find a reputable tire shop that will even mount them. I run 18x10+25 RS-D's and have 265/35/18 and I have a mild stretch. Your running .5 more then my set up and plan to run 2 tire sizes smaller.

Can you or should you?
I've seen the stock tires (245s) stretched on a 10" wheel and it was too much of a stretch. Another .5" is a bad idea. I wouldn't even try it if I were you.

I did install my stock tires (245) on a 10" wheel. The shop had a royal pain with the one tire. It just did not want to fill with air. It took over an hour to get one of the tires on. I can imagine a 10.5" wheel would give even more problems. It's just not worth damaging a wheel over.
The tires actually didn't look all that bad. You could tell it was stretched, but certainly not the worst I have seen. Overall, I didn't end up liking it after about two months. I broke down and got 265's, which I should have done from the start.
