Hsd=stance???
OK, I'm looking for a deal on coilovers, and according to JRP, HSD builds the Stance coilovers, and I can get the HSD's which are the same spec as the Stance for much less. Would anyone know if this is accurate?
Is Stance known to be a quality product? I would be looking at the equivalent to the GR+PRO/AL+PRO, or the GR+3
Any suspension guru's out there? Thanks guys.

JRP is a local performance supplier
jrponline.com
I am in Toronto, so I was trying to find someone local. When we order from the US over here, we get it with no vaseline at the border for brokerage fees, and customs takes forever.
According to JRP, HSD manufactures the Stance coilovers
I do about 20 track days a year. I just got the EVO, and funds are a bit tight, but I would love to start with suspension.

I wouldn't be surprised since HSD are also made in Korea. It could quite possibly be that both Stance and HSD are made off the same manufacturer.

Think about it, how many things you buy from Korea vs other asian nations (China, Taiwan) have ever failed on you (we all know Japan is top quality). Korea owns Samsung, LG, Hyundai and those are powerhouse companies with quality and durability. I wouldn't doubt too much on Korea as they seem to be doing pretty good in the manufacturing market.
Just think of Stance as the Japanese/American market brand while HSD is the Australia/Europe market brand.

Andrew,
I want to spend no more than 2K. What would you recomend? Would you be able to drop ship to me at Canadian postal code L6X 1X5?
I really like the Eibach R2's but can't afford them. Best price I've gotten over here is 2600.

Can't seem to find any actual specs though. I can get the HSD HT for about 1500 CND.

Single adjustable R1's are a good option around your price point.
Both are very good dampers....excellent valving. Rumor is they are Koni internals and the dyno plots look like it.
