I can get 17" to fit if I remove all of the brake calipers and just use the ebrake to stop the car. It's a little tough to get the car slowed down but the weight savings are significant. Also, tires are a bit cheaper.

If you're will to cut the rear rotors down to just the drum, without the service brakes, you could run old-school 12" Panasports and have a truly unique car. But I'd probably have to move the thread to Show & Shine then, so let's not go there.

Cut the disc into a square, then the wheel fill fit on there no problems.
