what should I do about my TPMS

what should I do about my TPMS

Just got my new wheels and tire but havent had the tires mounted yet. What are most of you evo x guys doing when you get new wheels and tires. Is it as easy as reusing your original TPMS sensors or what? I searched...

If you move them to the new rims then you're good.

Yea I figured thats what most guys were doing. I dont necessarily need two sets of wheels and tires so I guess thats what I'll do.

yes move them i dont have them in and its driving me crazy. not just a little light it takes over the whole display. my wheels were stolen so i didnt have them, but i have a used pair now.

since u are in florida thats the thing to do, for others who have snow and have to switch to winter rims it gets annoying

how hard is it to program a different set of TPMS? I have an extra set of TPMS off the EVO X MR BBS wheels

I believe the dealer charges around $90+ to program a TPMS to your car. Also I believe your car can only be matched to one set so if you want to mount your older set you will have to back to the dealer and pay another $90+.

This is correct, just have them put your TPMS sensors in your new set of rims thats what I did. If you dont you will have to hold the dash button to clear the screen, but you will still have the warning triangle on the screen. It will get annoying after a while.
