I need tire help ASAP please oh please.
First off, sorry I didn't search.
Here is the situation, back in February I ordered 4 Continental Extreme Contact DWS (Ultra High Performance All-Season) 245/40ZR18 tires. They were on back order until May 15th, not a problem. Today I call and find out they won’t be available until July, I need tires now. Due to the fact TireRack didn’t inform me of the extremely long and growing back order, they are providing me a discount on any set of tires I order, thus I am stuck with TireRack.
I have a 2008 Evo X MR. I need 4 All-Season High/Ultra performance tires in the next two weeks or so. I don’t have the time to research so I am throwing myself on the mercy of the forum. What would you get?
You should know I am not going to buy summer tires then come winter buy winter tires. I am buying all season, no debate. Reasons are my own. Anyway, I need some opinions, quick. I would like brand name, 245/40ZR18s that will work with my existing BBS MR wheels, price around $600-$800 with a decent tread life at least 40,000 miles. Decent wet weather and snow performance. I live in Missouri and receive my fair amount of snow in the winter. I am looking at BF, Bridgestone, Pirelli, Dunlop, Goodyear, Yokohama, and Hankook. Right now in the lead are the Yokohama AVID ENVigor (W) 97W (Ultra High Performance All-Season) tires. Driving is 60% Interstate and 40% two lane twisties. Very little town driving.
Your help is greatly appreciated!

Star Specs are NOT all season so don't worry about it. If you want cheap, Kumho ASX or Falken ZE-912. If you want something with a stiffer sidewall, maybe the Pirelli Pzero-Nero M&S.

I would like a combo of ride quality and performance, a nice mix, with a slight emphasis on ride quality. On only rare occasions do I really push the car. I dont drag, autocross, or road race.

The Yokohamas you mentioned would probably be a fine tire. Realistically, from how you speak, I doubt you'd tell much difference between any of the "higher rated" all seasons. All of them are going to be stupidly un-grippy in comparison to the stocker Advans, but you're aware of that. I just have to mock you a bit.
Mock mock mock.
Mock mock mock.

honestly I would recommend fk452's but tirerack doesnt sell them. dunlop has other option more suited to your needs just get on tirerack and search your size, then read the reviews.
