How noisy are the Ohlins?
There doesn't seem to be a general consensus in the few threads that I've read. And there is no way to use the stock top mounts instead of the pillow ball mounts? Any new input from Ohlin owners out there?

Ohlins uses a huge, high-quality spherical bearing up top. So until that bearing wears out, you should hear, as jackygor said "somewhere between quiet and silent". I drove an X with a set this past weekend, and they are exactly what I'm after. Near stock softness when cruising. Then it handles amazing when you push it. No noise.
