265/35R18 - Stock GSR Wheel?

Well on my way to the NTEC meet lastnight I picked up a nice sheet metal screw in my passenger front tire shoulder. I have to order a new set of tires and I am about to order my 18x10 +25 Advan RZ's and do the 3 month waiting game. I do not want to have to purchase another set of Nitto's when I get my new wheels in, so I was wondering if anyone has run 265/35R18's on stock GSR/MR wheels without any rubbing issues due to the +38 offset. I know the tire will physically fit the wheel safely for daily driving. I would much rather run the 265's on stockers for a couple months than to spend another $700 to go from 255-265 later.

Thanks!

A fairly common question. The sidewalls will feel sloppy with spirited driving. If you are just daily driving until your new rims come in then it should be fine.

I would just buy used tires for the stock wheels, keep them for winter later after your Advans come.

Running the NT05's without issue on stock GSR wheels. No problems so far.
