oh ok, by collar i meant the thing you adjust to lower the bottom mount. Were the shocks easy to compress when you installed them?

I can't say because I did not compress my shocks to install them.

pic of the coil with the tire off would be better for everyone to help you. Especially a pic of the spring perch.

It is not a blown shock because the weight of the car is supported by the spring not the shock.

Now you didnt adjust or twist any of the top rings did you? You're only supposed to loosen the bottom one and twist the cylinder I believe CCW to lower, CW to raise.

Thanks every one but I was ably to get the car to even out and not scrap any more by dropping the front by about 3 inches and raising the back by an inch on each side. I am going to see if I can get another half inch out in the rear tomorrow if possible.

Oh my god, I like cracked up for two minutes when I saw how ridiculous this looked. That actually happened to me in the back when I first installed my coilovers. Just readjust it...

i hope this wont happen to me as i will installing mine in a day or 2. going to some measurements on flat ground and some markings before installing the CO.

OP, do post some pix up when you're done adjusting them. thx for the headsup
