well it says forged rim. MAT tech is basically flow formed rim tech, which is "forged" in that the metal is heated and formed to shape. its not 100% cast as in a gravity cast or low pressure cast. so they're not lying, just a little misleading...

flow formed rims are a well known tech thats been used for decades. the only thing i'd ever be wary of is the quality control of 'made in china' parts. the tech is there, but are the standards?

Hmm.. interesting i like some of the styles that konig has, I was actually considering the lace. I might have to look further into this.

MADE IN JAPAN!!! well at least the good ones most of us use. i dunno about their regular cast wheels but the MAT ones seem to be all made in japan.
