Slight brake fluid leak?

after i got the brake fluids flushed to some motul, i noticed that recently, the red paint on the top next the bleeder would strip off. subsequent touch-ups resulted in the same way. it's not a huge deal, but i would like to know if anyone else experience this with upgraded fluids?

I'm sure the wrench used while bleeding slightly chipped the paint and the brake fluid residue took the opportunity to soften the chipped paint. Clean it really well and make sure the bleeders are snug, you should be set after that.

I have the same issue, but didn't try repainting. One theory is that a little bit of fluid was still sitting in the bleeders after doing the brake fluid flush. It's hard to get all the fluid out as a little bit will just sit in the bleeder.

well i did find some fluid in the dust cap. after i completely dried it out with air blaster and shop towels, i put the cap back on. i'll give it a few days and see if it's still coming out.

make sure to use some water to flush the fittings after you tighten them to prevent the fluid from eating the paint
