I need your advise on Brake pad

Hi guys,
my stock brake pad is pretty going to wear out soon and i need to replace them for my next track day. I'm new to the evo and tracking thing, so i need your advise on brake pad because i really don't know what brake pad to get is suit me the most.
I'm looking for a pad that running fine on the street and also running good on the track, is there a such thing? please recommend me some.
thanks
Nick

no such thing if you don't drive like a grandma on the track.

There's a sticky thread in this forum with a ton of good info. Read it.

The closest mixed-use pad you're going to find, in my opinion, is the RacingBrake ET800B. It will be a little noisy and dust on the street, and not take the heat like a true track pad so keep this in mind.

CL RC6E. Expensive, but worth it.

I'm going to give the Ferodo DS2500's a try.

Carbotech Bobcat 1521 for street.
Carbotech XP10 for track.

That's what I run but I do drive like a grandma. I think they call that being a track novice and not (irresponsibly) driving beyond your ability.

Yes, Seperate track and street pads is best. Either XP - 10's from carbotech or DTC - 30 from hawk or something similar for track and whatever you feel you want for the street, there are tons of flavors.

Do you know anyone that has used the XP8? They say it should be suitable for anyone short of HPDE experts and yet should still be safe to drive to the track. I basically only drive my car to/from the track so it might be a good fit.

I strongly agree with separate pads. I even switch off for auto-x, and track use is much more demanding/heated. It's only a 45 minute job (max) for all 4 pads anyway, and in the long run it'll probably be cheaper. Just my .02

Make sure you push down the retaining spring while you are trying to push the pins through, it will help to release pressure. I use one side of needle nose pliers. just about anything will work. Pulling it from the back side is easier anyways.

I use a concave headed nail set. It works perfect.
