i havnt used none of these tires ...

im presently on the NT05 's atm , if i was to choose between your 3 choices , id prolly go with the NT555's , prolly cuz im on the "Nitto bandwagon" , however seeing both the NT05's and NT555's in person , the NT05's will NOT last as long as the NT555's as there is more"meat" on them ...

the NT05's are slightly more aggressive for the track use / weekend warrior
however the 555's will do fine thou , my next pair i might try either the 555's or INVO's .

good luck with yer choice

I have the Sumitomo HTR III's.

Here are my thoughts compared to the Stock Advans:

For normal everyday driving they are pretty good – very low price for the performance you get out of them. The tread wear is nearly twice that of the stock Advan A13C's and are relatively quiet at cruising to higher speeds. I did notice that initial steering response is not as sharp as that of the Advans and I do feel there is some sidewall flex when you jump into turns aggressively. There is less grip on this rubber since the compound is not as sticky as the Advans.

In short the Evo feels less "sharp" with these tires. I bought the the Sumitomo's because I'm on a budget and didn't have the funds to get a stickier tire at the time.

Best of luck in your choice

But if you really want to keep the list to the original three tires....then I would vote for Hankook V12 out of those 3

+1 I agree with you on that!

You pay probably AT MOST $100 for the the NT05s and they grip like a champ for what they are and if you can get discounts on them, even better! Haha.

They V12 is good too, but it might be a tad bit more.
Well good-luck on everything. Hope you find the "right" tire you want.

Definitely step it up to some better performing tires. Any of the usual suspects would work great (no particular order):

- Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Specs
- Bridgestone Potenza RE-11
- Advan Neova AD08
- Nitto NT05
- Kumho Ecsta XS
- Hankook Ventus R-S3
- Falken Azenis RT-615K

I'd go with NT05's. I had those in the stock size before my 265 Hankook v12's. I thought I'd be DDing my car, which is why I went with the higher treadware of the Hankook's but now the Evo is the garage queen. I regret buying them now. I've been trying to melt these damn things off for months to no avail. They just don't respond or grip very well. Don't sell your Evo short.
