Another H&R Spring Review

Let me start by saying I love these springs! IMO it's just the right amount of drop. Paid $232.52 w/shipping (part #29009-1) and had the Whiteline RCA kit installed ($190.74, part #KCA395) together with the springs. The "After" picture was taken 8 days after the install, the alignment is still pending, and I reused the stock spring isolators. Install price for both the springs & RCA kit was $465.

The ride quality is slightly stiffer than stock on smooth roads with only a slight increase in undulation on irregular surfaces. In the turns the springs stiffen up real quick (like they're supposed to) with just about zero body roll...all told still livable for a daily driver. I can still make it over small speed bumps without rubbing (even with my Tanabe front brace), and I've yet to hit the bump stops (which were left untouched during install), then again I haven't hit any huge potholes yet. As for clearance, it currently has about 1 1/2 fingers in the front, and about 1 finger in the back.

The springs look great. Did you install them yourself or have it done? How long did it take?

I had them installed...together with the Whiteline RCA kit in the same visit. Don't really know how long it took, I dropped the car off in the morning at the shop and picked it up at the end of the day.

To make it easier for them I removed the side and back panels in the trunk so they could get at the rear shocks. What I should have done is remove the front underneath splash guard as well. They said it takes awhile just to remove/install the many bolts and clips on that bad boy (42 push clips, 6 10mm bolts).
