TSW Wheels - anyone running them?

I've been looking at some TSW wheels and was hoping to find some reassurance of various sizes fitting the X. I'd like to run an 18x9.5. I think a +20 offset would be fine in that size.

However, I only found a couple references to people running them on the X, and both needed a spacer. Anyone else running any TSW's? If so,w what size and do you have any brake or fender clearance issues?

The model of the wheel (design) makes a huge difference. Even with the same width and offset, certain styles will not clear the front brakes. I looked into TSW a while back and most of the wheels are very heavy (24-26 lbs). I would suggest Rota over TSW.

What model did you look at.... and did they fit? Nurburgring in 18x9.5 weigh under 19lbs... but they're only rated at 1350lbs.

Don't remember what models, but if you are really curious, call TSW to find out what they have test fitted on the evo x. Also, see if you can convince your local Discount Tire to order them for you but not charge you if they don't fit. That's a very light weight for 18x9.5, but not sure what load rating we need for our heavy cars.

it's their lowest rated wheel, and i wouldn't DD with it. A decent pot hole at speed would probably leave a mark. Being perfectly balance, it'll hold the evo pulling 1g, but hardly. They provide good info regarding load ratings, but to find weight, pretty much gotta find someone who has them and put them on a scale That seems to be true for most wheel vendors, unfortunately.

i've seen their ads in mags--and they always advertise that their wheels are forged and strong. is it all just gimmick?
