pros & cons of wheel spacer?
hey guys, need your opinion, i'm planning of putting a 20mm spacer on my stock bbs so it would look a little flush, i was told that it has a disadvantage when a spacer is put on the wheels, it might bend the studs, is that true? did anybody had problems with these spacers? thanx for your input on advance.

if u go cheap on the spacers there are alot of problems you'll run into..i would get those new gen spacers that you just bolt onto your old studs and they have locks and new studs pressed in for ya..those seem the safest

You should do a search on it... The bolt-on type spacers that come with new studs should be fine.
Do not put on a 20mm spacer that uses the stock studs! The stock studs are not long enough to be used with spacers.

I'm running Ichiba 20mm spacers with no issues for almost a month now and have been daily driving my car....I got them at Touge Factory. I'm on Swift springs and didn't have to roll any of my fenders nor modify the inner wheel lining. I've been checking for any signs of scraping every week and found none so far with plenty of spirited driving.
With these spacers, it'll make a big difference in the overall appearance of your car. I was actually planing on getting new Wheels till I saw how sexy these BBS can be if you just pop them out a little bit..
If you do get these, be sure to post pics of your WW X MR!!! I wanna see a white one with these on.

I used 5mm spacers (on stock lugs) my old SRT4 and while I never had any issues I found that the lug nuts would never stay torqued. I would have to re-tourque every 3-4 weeks. Don't think I would go that route again.
