Missing Wheel Weight

I was cleaning my rims and noticed on the rear driver side rim was missing its wheel weight.

Wouldn't I have felt the weight missing when I drove it?

Anyone had this happen?

Also by chance is getting this fixed under the warranty if I still have the stock rims and rubber?

Also, will they need the whole car there or can I just take the tire to them and have them spin balance it and apply the weight? I ask this because I hate taking my car to the dealership because they always seem to want to my car for joy rides which mind you in an entirely other topic...

Thanks for your responses!

did it originally have a weight ?
not every rim and tire needs a weight. i know wheni got my new wheels and tires 1 of them was balanced perfectly without weight and the other 3 needed just a small weight.

I dont know how long mitsubishi warranties the balance of the wheels, it might be worth calling the dealer to see what they say.

I noticed it had the holder for the weight and a little dirt spot there I couldn't get under the weight to clean. I will probably call tomorrow I just didn't know if someone could have already dealt with this issue.

have you ever gotten another balance on that car??
they sometimes take off the old one and put on different ones
If you don't notice a difference\noise I wouldn't worry about it

Take it to the dealer, and do what I do.

Tell the service advisor no test drives...

Reason why the seasoned veterans use heat reflective tape over the weights.

Sometimes they don't need weights, don't worry about it.
