tire loses traction in rain!!...need help

Your front and rear toe is probably way out of spec, listen to everyone else here, GET AN ALIGNMENT. You will crash your car if its as bad as you are saying.
I am sure you can afford an alignment, get one as soon as possible.

lol. oh boy u need "an alignment" ASAP.. I was running with Swift and stock YOKO for about two years and never have a problem with anything like that wet or dry.... until I hv like 15% left, and I said time to get a new tires..

New tires need to be broken in. Could be as simple as that. The day I installed my Swift Sport Springs in a friends garage (didn't get the alignment until a week later) I had to drive across the city in a major downpour and had no issues with hyrdoplaning or traction so I have a hard time believing that it's due to not having an alignment unless who ever installed your springs did a poor job.

It would be quite interesting to see if you havent gotten it aligned. Whenever I changed tires with any car ive owned or had it done for a friend, the first i do is to get the alignment.

this is the first time i drove my MR X in rain after the car was lowered with new tires...my car was sliding left and right on the highway doing 60-65MPH..it slides so much that the automatic traction control kicks in ON A STRAIGHT WAY....what could cause this problem? the lowering? the tires? car need an alignment? im so scared now i cant even drive my car in the rain...needs some help quick..

Just spit out the brand/model of the cheap tires you got, it's not a big deal if they are cheap, just tell us which ones they are so we can get a better understanding of the wet weather failure.
