tire loses traction in rain!!...need help

tire loses traction in rain!!...need help
this is the first time i drove my MR X in rain after the car was lowered with new tires...my car was sliding left and right on the highway doing 60-65MPH..it slides so much that the automatic traction control kicks in ON A STRAIGHT WAY....what could cause this problem? the lowering? the tires? car need an alignment? im so scared now i cant even drive my car in the rain...needs some help quick..

In addition to ^^, how many miles and how long had it been raining.
Remember that all wheel drive does not mean that the car behaves the same in the wet as it does on dry tarmac. You must adjust your driving for the conditions.

i have the tanabe df210 lower spring.. what toe should i set on my car?..could it really be the toe problem?... and the tires are just the regular all season lower profile tires

my X was basic fish tailing on the high way while only doing 60-65 mph on the straight way...i never experience this kind problem before...creeps my out..

tires are also the most important thing that grips the road. what kind of all seasons? performance tires have a dry biased handling. an all season is a trade-off but doesn't guarantee excellent performance in the rain.

I find it funny that threads like this even exist. What brand tires are you running?
It should be common sense to align the car after lowering it and in Cali why would you even need to run all season tires anyway? It's not like you have cold weather.
You should generally set toe to ZERO for all four corners.

You need an alignment bro. Any time u lower car, alignment is required. Example of of how it sits without an alignment.
