Roll center kit alternatives

Whiteline seems to be the only roll center kit easily available for the evo X but there are plenty of other brands which offer evo IX roll center adjuster and tie rod ends separately.

After doing some searching I noticed that the part number for the whiteline evo x and ix roll centre kit (which comes with the roll centre adjuster and tie rod end) are the same (kca395).

This got me thinking if anyone has used an evo IX roll centre adjuster and tie rod end on their evo X from manfacturers like ralliart or kansai service?

Curious becuase i need to replace my whiteline rck and was thinking of trying something different...

I think your right the 9 and x all use the same roll center kit. I do know everything else is different though. I dont see why the others would be different... however why do you want to avoid the whiteline?

i ran the whiteline rck kit for about 9 months before my car developed a strange noise/virbation which could be felt through the steering wheel / dash at low speed while steering the car.

My mechanic traced the problem back to the front right rca so i reverted back to stock parts for safety reasons.

i'll give whiteline the benefit of the doubt and consider this a normal wear & tear replacement for me given i track alot.

i'll probably try out moonface next.

Was the bushing on the LCA bad? If so, contact whiteline, they should replace it under warranty

I haven't heard of any RCK problems except for you and Clipse3GT....Clipse's was obviously a manufacture defect....Whiteline replaced his under warranty

they are the same parts. you'd be surprised how many parts are shared between the entire evo lineup (I-X)

If your upgrading i wouldnt worry about alternatives and would just shell out for the whiteline kit. It is the next best thing to coilovers. And they compliment a lowered car very well.
