From what I have read and what the guy at the dealer ship told me no you can not have two sets. You would have to have them reprogrammed every time you want to change them out.

Stupid question so don't flame me. Do you only have to do this when changin out wheels and not tires. I put my snow tires on and haven't got the light so I should be in the clear correct? This is mounted in the wheel itself correct?

New to TPMS...

They left on your TPMS on your wheels during the change. So since you are still using the same sensors, they didn't need to do anything. so you are good to go. The problem arises when you use new sensors that need to be matched to the car.


I have heard they may be coming out with some reprogrammable sensors at some point, this would allow us to run two sets with matching sensor IDs. But who knows when that would happen or if they would be compatible.

I have new tpms in my te 37 the dealer wante 180 to reprogram.....
