I'm very happy with my Eibach Prokits. They ride great and look nice.

The Swift Spect-R on my MRT feels pretty nice. Works great with the stock Bilstein shock and not too low to scrape everywhere.

IMO, if you want a better lowered suspension setup, just save the money and buy a set of coilovers. You will be much happier in the long run.

Same here, looking for the "best" spring for its value.. Im leaning towards Eibach, because of the price and the fact that i dont track the car or ever push the car to its limit..all i do is sprinted driving and occasionally take some corners when i see some good ones (I live in Houston, its all flat land).. I do plan on getting coilovers later down the road but for the meantime I rather spend that money on a new turbo haha.. But alot of people seem to like swift's..

Edit: i suck at spelling..

I'd stay away from Eibach. They will certainly slam the car but they won't do much for performance. Go with swift or H&R they produce much better sprints from what I've seen.

What are you looking to get out of the setup? What do you use the car for?

I'm also in the market for some new lowering springs for my evo 8 gsr. I hear the bilstein/swift spec-r combo are the crowd's favorite...

I would disagree, I had two sets of coilovers, a lowered VIII suspension and now Swift Spec R's on my MR, by far and away the swift spec R's on Bilsteins is the best suspension setup I have ever had. Coilovers are just WAY too stiff and the costVs. reward you can't just go out and spend a grand for some KYB garbash or even D@ monotube Chinese B.S. you really need to spend some Serious cash to get a peoper Coilover setup.

Swift Spec R's and Bilstein HD's.

I believe all aftermarket springs fit all trims of EVO, whether it's GSR, SE, MR or MRT.
